I know I am so very lucky. Lucky in the fact that I do not suffer any form of pain from being so overweight. I do not have a bad back or bad knees or anything of the sort. With feeling that my leg muscles are getting stronger though I am randomly doing slight squats here and there. I am feeling a clicking feeling in the back of my knee (left) when I do that. I have a stair stepper at work that when I use my knee (left again) pops. They are not painful- just more of a discomfort because I am afraid that I am going to hurt something.
Does anyone else have this kinda stuff going on?
I had an awesome day at work today. I was able to accomplish a lot of back filing that needed to be done. I was very happy with the amount of stuff I did. Now I am off to bed because I was up to late last night and I am tired!
I have clicking in one of my knees with no pain really... I actually went to the doctor years ago because I was so concerned, he told me there was some scar tissue between my joints (from a barely noticeable injury that had occurred at some point) and not to worry about it. Through the years, the clicking has actually reduced...
ReplyDeleteSo, it could be something really innocuous! But, if you are concerned, never hurts to get it checked out to prevent something major in the future!
I get clicking and popping too. ice the knee for swelling and heat the knee to relax the muscle. :)
ReplyDeleteRegarding your comment on my Zumba post. Let me just tell you this: My grandma is tone deaf and has not enough rhythm to fill her pinky toe nail) and she can Zumba her ass off like no body's business.
Not to be bitchy, but it is true; one of my favorite quotes is: whether you think you can or you can't, you're right.
Not bitchy :) Actually after I read your post and watched a min of the video I finally you tubed Bikram to see what it was (What Curvyfitgirl does) Then I went to look at the YMCA schedule list to see if they offered begginers zumba. LOL
DeleteI am still amazed at myself for running .10 of a mile on Tuesday. I never, ever would have thought I could. LOL
Do they have it? That would be awesome, but honestly there is no such thing as 'beginners' Zumba. You can just take the movements and modify them. And theres no such thing as looking stupid because everyone else is concentrating on following the instructor.
ReplyDeleteThey do have Zumba. We are not members though. LOL I just wanted to see what they offered as I know we would qualify for a scholarship.
DeleteBTW, I'm proud of you for running that too!! Totally awesome!
